Head Coach Men’s Rugby League

Vancouver Dragons are accepting applications for the position of head coach of Men’s Rugby League.

The Vancouver Dragons are a member of the British Columbia Rugby League and competes at the provincial league.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide coaching, recruiting, and overall guidance in all aspects of rugby league team. The successful candidate will work to maintain active interaction with players, coaching staff and board members as well as supporters. This position reports directly to the board.

Proven integrity, leadership, and a thorough knowledge and passion of Rugby League are required. Candidate should possess a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit players.

The duties will include but not limited to; coaching, recruiting, scouting, attend promotional events and media requests as needed.

This position is a voluntary position and is part time based.

QUALIFICATIONS*:

Level 1 coaching certificate or higher

Minimum 1 year coaching of senior men’s rugby league

Be available for training and the season games.
